Sitta carolinensis

I should clarify. Troglodytes aedon is the latin name for the house wren, a pesky bird commonly found near human habitation due to its fondness for placing nests in dry and cozy corners and crevices. I tend to relate more strongly to the white-breasted nuthatch, Sitta carolinensis. Someone already named their blog The Nuthatch. But you'll hear from me as the nuthatch.
